Resolve To Throw Fabulous Non-Traditional Parties in 2011!

Happy New Year to our Fabulous hostess friends!  As you set your resolutions for the New Year, why not resolve to throw Fabulous parties all year long?  You don’t need a “reason” to host a Fabulous bash…but in case you need some inspiration, check out this list of non-traditional, yet fun and Fabulous “holidays” that you can celebrate.
January is the national month of do-good-ing.  Did you know that it is the month for:
  • National Bath Safety Month
  • National Blood Donor Month; and
  • National Braille Literacy Month?
It is also:
  • National Hobby Month
  • Hot Tea Month
  • National Oatmeal Month; and
  • National Soup Month.
But if none of these tickly your fancy, what about the following:
Jan. 1 - Betsy Ross' Birthday: throw a flag inspired party and celebrate the Red, White, and Blue
Jan. 2 - Drinking Straw Day: host a cocktail party with lots of crazy straws to stir your spirits!
Jan. 3 - Festival of Sleep Day: why not have a slumber party with the girls?
Jan. 4Trivia Day: for our brainier hostesses, sounds like a fun time to dig out those old trivia games for a tournament
Jan. 5National Bird Day: pack a picnic and go bird watching (or have a carpet picnic and watch Sesame Street)
Jan. 6 - Cuddle Up Day: Sounds like a great idea to plan a cuddle night with your significant other
Jan. 7Old Rock Day: Can you says 80’s rock party???
